“Sometimes all we need is a little splash of colours”
Painting or colouring with hands are fun for kids. It is a wonderful sensory experience for them. This messy play stimulates their creativity and imagination and helps them in strengthening finger and hand muscles.
To develop all these skills in our little learners,
BHAVANS PUBLIC SCHOOL, DOHA QATAR conducted Octopus Colouring for LKG and Bird Paper Collage for UKG on 5th January 2023.
LKG Children coloured the printed Octopus beautifully with their small fingers. Also they learned that Octopuses are sea animals famous for their rounded bodies, bulging eyes, and eight long arms.
UKG children did the paper collage – on the printed bird picture, by using glue pasted the colourful bits of paper and filled the bird. Collage is great for developing fine motor skills and awareness of colour and texture
Such art activities are very important in early childhood as these activities help the body and brain to integrate information and it is also a most relaxing and creative way to express feelings. Children explored this interesting way of colouring, collage activity and had lot of fun.
