Teacher’s Day is celebrated in India every year on 5th September to appreciate the role played by teachers in the life of students–the leaders of tomorrow. The day is also celebrated to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of the country and a visionary educator. Teachers provide the power of knowledge and education and create possibilities for better future.
Bhavan’s Public School celebrated TEACHER’S DAY with great enthusiasm. School Principal Mr. M.P Philip, Vice Principal Mr. Dharmraj Kumar, Director of Administration Mrs. Anjana Menon, Academic and Activity coordinators and Teachers graced the occasion with their presence.The event started with a special assembly conducted by the teachers.Colourful, enthralling and captivating programmes were presented by the teachers of all the sections. After the formal function senior students assumed the roles of all teaches including Principal and took classes according to the allotted time table. It was an unforgettable experience for the students and they all shared their experiences after the classes. Principal Mr. M.P Philip gave a speech thanking and appreciating all the teachers for their hard work and dedication and for helping the school achieve new heights.
