Every year, September 29 is observed as World Heart Day to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease, heart disease and stroke. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 17 million people die from heart disease worldwide every year. The major cause of these fatalities is coronary heart disease or strokes. The World Heart Day” is a campaign to spread global awareness about the prevention and control of cardiovascular disease (CVD) . The day was first observed by the World Heart Federation in collaboration with the World Health Organization on September 24, 2000. However, from 2012 onwards, it has been observed on September 29 after world leaders pledged to reduce global mortality rates from these non-communicable illnesses by 25% by 2025.Keeping up with the same the students of Grade V of Bhavans Public School conducted their class assembly on 28 September 2021.

 The virtual assembly commenced with the Morning Prayer which is believed to provide peace and serenity to our minds and souls. The students had explored their talents such as singing, playing piano, dancing, presenting PPT, and delivering speeches.. The Principal Mr.M P.Philip, Headmistress Mrs. Shailaja Krishnakumar, Academic coordinator Ms.Shiny Thomas and the class teacher Ms.Nagomi T M adorned the event and appreciated the students for their zeal and passion. The Principal also expressed his gratitude to all the parents and teachers.
