“Let’s nurture the nature so that we can have a better future.” Focusing on the theme ‘Ecosystem Restoration, Bhavans celebrated World Environment Day on 3rd June 2021 in the virtual event to raise awareness for protecting the environment and preserving it for the future generation .The students dressed in green attire celebrated the day with enthusiasm by participating virtually in various activities such as melodious songs, dance, speech, power point presentation and a thought provoking skit on topic ‘Say no to plastic’. They made the day eco-friendly by planting saplings and watering the plants in the small gardens at home.
Discussions on environmental issues in the present pandemic situation were marked through the presentation of posters, brochure, slogans on save earth etc. The students and class teachers took a pledge to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth.
The principal Mr.M.P.Philip, the Vice Principal Mr.Dharmaraj Kumar and the Headmistress, Mrs.Shailaja Krishnakumar applauded the effort of the students, teachers and the parents and urged the students to plant more trees and to ‘Reduce’ the amount of waste, “Reuse” items before replacing them and ‘Recycle” materials wherever possible.
