Bhavan’s Public School observed the WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY on Monday, 31st April 2021 where the focus was on creating awareness among the students and teachers on the harmful effects of tobacco products. The students beautifully showcased how adolescents get attracted towards tobacco products because of the packaging and famous brands. A special assembly was organized via Zoom platform where the students of Grade 10 and 12 made the day a remarkable one by exhibiting thoughtful speeches, power point presentation and quiz competition. The Principal Mr. M.P Philip addressed the virtual assembly and appreciated the efforts taken by the students and teachers to make the day a special one. He also asserted the main objectives was to make people understand the dangers of using tobacco. The Academic Coordinator, Ms. Vichithra Vishwambaran and the Activity Coordinator, Mr. Shaijumon rendered their back support to organize the session in a wonderful manner.
