To honor the great poet and dramatist, William Shakespeare, Bhavan’s Public School observed the World Book Day on 29th April. The day is observed to stress the importance of reading, to foster children’s growth as readers and promote a life-long love of literature and integration into the world of careers. A special assembly was organized via Zoom platform where the students of Grade 8 made the day remarkable by exhibiting thoughtful speeches, book reviews and posters. The Principal Mr. M.P Philip addressed the students and appreciated the efforts taken by the students and teachers to make the day a special one. He also stated the need to maintain reading habits among the younger generation. The Academic Coordinator, Ms. Vichithra Vishwambaran and the Activity Coordinator, Mr. Shaiju Dhamani rendered their back support to organize the session in a wonderful way.
