With the thought “Let the peace begin with a smile”, the Bhavan’s Public School observed the day on 17th September 2019 with integrity and patriotism. The striking message of power of non-violence was staged through an engaging skit that went a step forward in helping the students to get acquainted with the principles of non-violence. The Principal Mr.M.P.Philip said in his speech to spread the message of peace and honour Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of religious pluralism. The Vice –principal, Mr. Dharmarajkumar extolled the efforts of the students in manifesting the day with fitting celebrations. Headmistress Mrs.Shailaja encouraged the students to uphold the Gandhian principles and lead a life of peace. The Headmistress, Mrs. Asha Shiju urged all to be the peace makers and live in the world of ‘We’ instead of ‘I’.
