“To teach is to learn.” With this noble thought, Bhavan’s Public School celebrated the Teachers’ day on 5th September 2019 with warm gratitude and zeal. A special assembly was organized by the exuberant teachers with various events including inspiring thought, speech and a mellifluous song. A PowerPoint presentation shedding light on the life of Dr.S Radakrishnan was also showcased to amplify the occasion. This was followed by a stupendous dance performance by the students and candles were lit to honor the veteran teachers. A token of appreciation was bestowed on each teacher by the Principal M P Philip, Vice Principal and HM’s. Principal in his message envisioned the teachers to be the vehicles of change. Vice Principal Mr.Dharmaraj Kumar said that teachers are the soul of any society. Senior HM Mrs.Shailaja Krishnakumar elevated the spirit of the teachers by recollecting and sharing her teaching experience .Head Mistress Asha Shiju stated that teaching is an instinctual art and amalgam of skills, knowledge and positive attitude. The assembly had transferred a positive impetus to the teachers.
