With an aim to increase the awareness against environmental pollution, the Eco Club of Bhavan’s New Salata campus, in association with Galfar Al Misnad Group, celebrated World Environment Day on 13th June 2019. The session was marked by planting tree saplings and an elocution competition based on the theme, “Together we can beat air pollution”. First position was bagged by Anugraha Anna Mathew of Grade 4 A. Joel Shibu (6 A) and Prince K (6 D) secured second and third positions respectively. All the participants received prizes from Galfar team. Mr. Venkat, the team leader, in his thought provoking speech inspired students to work collectively to build a greener world. Speaking on the occasion, the Headmistress, Mrs. Asha Shiju exhorted students to act decisively to protect environment and grow more trees. She also applauded the effort of all and thanked the judges and Galfar team for their support. The Director Admin, Mrs. Anjana Menon graced the occasion.
