A special orientation program for Science Teachers was organized in association with Science India Forum, Qatar at Bhavan’s Public School, Wakra Campus on Sunday, 9th December. Science and EVS teachers from all the three campuses attended the meeting. The resource person Dr.Brajesh Pandey, Professor, Symbiosis Science and Technology Institute, was introduced by the Principal Mr. M P Philip
The session witnessed an activity oriented training with several hands-on experiments demonstrated by Dr.Brajesh Pandey and the teachers were asked to find out the solutions for the same. The experiments were related to different branches of Physics, Classical mechanics which includes Newton’s Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Fluid mechanics, experiment related to Atmospheric pressure, Chromatic aberration and Polarisation.
The training session was an eye opener for all the teachers and it ignited the minds of all the teachers. It also reminded the teachers to preplan their class and they should design experiments and activities which would help the students to think and frame the solutions.
