International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer was celebrated at Bhavan’s Public school on 25th September 2018.With an aim to galvanize the students to increase their efforts to address the challenges, an assembly was conducted with informative skit, depicting the impact of ozone layer on earth. The principal Mr.M.P.Philip addressed the assembly and explained briefly the causes and effects of the ozone layer depletion. The Vice principal said that it was the responsibility of each and every one to save the Ozone layer. Headmistress Ms.Shailaja Krsihnakumar insisted the students to take small steps to minimize energy use in order to be ozone-friendly. Headmistress Ms. Asha Shiju exhorted the students to spread the message of ozone day to their parents and relatives.
