World Book Day was celebrated on 30th April with zip and zing, with an aim to ignite a lifelong passion for books and reading among the students.
A special assembly was conducted in all its three campuses to showcase the significance of books and the need to promote reading among the student community. The world of imagination was brought to life as the teeny readers presented the catwalk, dressing up as their favourite fictional characters like Harry Potter, Spiderman, Sherlock Homes, Romeo and Juliet etc. and a high-spirited action song. Nabil Uzer of class VIII A, organized a literary quiz which featured the important facts and features about books and authors
Principal, Mr. M P Philip and HM Ms. Asha Shiju urged the students to enjoy reading and sharpen their imagination and creativity. He also encouraged the students make reading a habit as to widen their knowledge and outlook.
