With an objective to augment the awareness on the sphere of Information and communication Technology, Bhavan’s Public School celebrated World Computer Literacy Day on 4th December in all three campuses. The students and the faculties from the department of computer science took initiative to make arrangements to dilate the prominence of the day. An Inter House Quiz competition was held and it comprised of various rounds which was navigated by the Computer Science faculty. On this occasion, Principal Mr.M.P.Philip, in his address emphasized the importance of E-Literacy and the changing pattern of communication and technology and its various effects in the fields of education, employment and health. Headmistress Mrs Shailaja KrishnaKumar and Mrs. Asha Shiju applauded the enthused quizzees for their blue-chip performance and encouraged them to be perceptive technophiles. The students from Ruby house bagged the first prize in all three campuses followed by Sapphire House.
