Bhavan’s Public School celebrated its 8th annual day at Wakra Indoor Stadium on 1st December. The cultural fiesta for Kindergarten titled “Harmony in Symphony’ commenced at 1:30 PM.The colourful display of creative talents of tiny tots mesmerized the audience. The formal function of 8th annual day celebrations began at 5 p.m .Ms. Chandrakantha Rathore (3rd Secretary, Information and culture, Indian Embassy) graced the occasion and in her inaugural address articulated that, art and artistic endeavors should be facilitated for the societal redemption and to imbibe good values through education.The guest of honour Ms.Milan Arun, President of Indian cultural centre appreciated the management and the staff for taking tremendous efforts in providing ample opportunities for the students to grow. Principal, Mr. M.P.Philip presented the annual report which highlighted the landmarks of the previous academic year.
Acting Chairman, Mr.J.K Menon delivered an inspiring Presidential address. Students’ manuscript magazines were released by the management members.CBSE toppers of class X and XII were honoured with certificates and trophies. Subsequently, students who have marveled in intramural competitions were crowned with Kalathilakam, Kalaprathiba and Sports champion titles. Mr.Baburjan, President, BhPs, welcomed the chief guest and the public to the celebration. Mr.Anil Kumar, General Secretary, cast the vote of thanks for the formal function.After the inaugural function cultural extravaganza titled ‘The Triumph of Tranquility’ was reeled in out for the audience. It was an array of visual enticements depicting the saga of the victory of virtues over the vices. The programmes were artistically designed and creatively executed.Vice President Mr.Manikantan, Director Administration Mrs.AnjanaMenon, Board of Directors,Headmistress Mrs .ShailajaKrishnaKumar and Mrs.Asha Shiju, Academic and Activity coordinators, teachers, parents and students graced the occasion.
