International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer was celebrated on 19th September in all three campuses of Bhavans Public School as a step to prompt young minds to start contributing their bit in nurturing the environment. Different activities were held to mark the day like speech, song, power point presentation and collage making competition. Also there was skit performed by the student addressing the causes and effects of the ozone layer depletion .Principal Mr M.P.Philip and Headmistress Mrs Shailaja KrishnaKumar and Mrs Asha.Shiju in their address to students talked about ways to protect Ozone layer and to reduce our ‘Carbon footprint’ in order to be ozone-friendly.
