With a purpose to acquaint the future citizens with the democratic processes, Bhavan’s Public School celebrated International Democracy Day on 18th September. The assembly witnessed the principles of democracy, being presented through the attractive posters, euphonious song, speech, skit and educational video and tableau. In the senior campus at Wakra quiz was also conducted for students. The school council members at Matar Campus were honoured in order to remind the students of the school parliamentary election procedures. Principal Mr M.P.Philip, in his address urged students to assimilate the positive principles of democratic system. Headmistress Mrs Shailaja KrishnaKumar and Mrs Asha.Shiju in their address to students convinced to the children that, ultimate goal of democracy is to preserve and promote the dignity and rights of each and every individual and impelled the students to exercise not only our rights but also the responsibilities of citizenship.
