English Language day which falls on the birthday of William Shakespeare was celebrated at all three campuses of Bhavan’s Public School with flair and flamboyance. Special assembly was conducted in which the students stimulated the spectators to plunge headlong into a heady mix of verve and versatility provided by the English language by presenting interesting facts, declamation of “Seven Ages “a classical poem penned by William Shakespeare and also conducted several activities including poem writing competition, quiz, speech and power point presentation on Indian poets in English to add flavour to the celebration. A small act on the play- The Merchant of Venice was enacted to mark the birth anniversary of the greatest writer William Shakespeare by the students blending talent and creativity. Principal Mr M.P.Philip emphasized about the importance of the day and the language itself to sensitise children on the importance of English language and to inculcate the habit of reading English books and poems.
