The 61st Kerala state reorganization day was celebrated at all three campuses on November 1st with glory portraying the traditional cultural heritage of Kerala state through an array of various cultural programmes that was designed and presented by Malayalam Department. Songs depicting the cultural glory and thematic dance projecting the aesthetic charm was presented by the students in all three campuses. Students at MidMac also presented Edassery Govindan Nair’s poem Poothapaattu through dance visualization. The programme was anchored by students of Malayalam department.Mr.Bijeesh at Wakra and Mr Ajith in Matar gave a speech highlighting on the importance of Malayalam language. Quiz was also conducted for the students and the winners were given certificates and novels as a mark of honour.Principal Shri M.P.Philip at Matar, Headmistress Mrs. Shailaja Krishnakumar at MidMac and Director Administration Mrs Anjana Menon at Matar in their speech highlighted the rich cultural diversity of Kerala. At Wakra Mrs Soumyapriya Head of Malayalam department and Mrs Sreekala in Matar proposed the vote of thanks.
