World Soil Day was celebrated on 11th November 2019 with an aim to raise awareness among the students of improving soil resources. A special assembly was conducted by the students emphasised on being the solution to the problem of soil pollution by presenting the types of soil. Principal M.P.Philip in his speech expressed that the new generation should embrace agriculture and traditional methods of soil conservation. Vice principal Mr.Dharmarajkumar appreciated the effort of all. The students were sensitized by Headmistress Mrs.Shailaja Krishnakumar to do their part to protect and improve soil health. Headmistress, Mrs. Asha Shiju along with the students planted a sapling to take home the maxim ‘we have soil to farm not to harm’.
