To commemorate the legacy left behind by the People’s President Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, Bhavans celebrated World Student’s Day on 23rd September 2019.A special assembly was organized by the Topaz House where the students manifested their love to Dr. Kalam through a persuasive speech and spotlighted his inspirational quote- “F.A.I.L means First Attempt In Learning.” A melodious group song was sung followed by a mind-blowing mime dance showing the denial of education and child labor. The Principal, M.P.Philip, in his speech inspired the students by recalling Dr. Kalam’s life and achievements. The Vice Principal, Mr.Dharmaraj Kumar recalled the great contributions done by Dr..A.P.J abdul KalamThe Headmistress Mrs.Shailaja Krishnakumar emboldened the students to harness their will power to make the world a better place and to learn from the great orator, writer, scientist and the inspiring teacher, Dr.A.P.J.Abdul KalamThe Headmistress, Mrs. Asha Shiju applauded students’ effort and asked them to achieve their dreams with hard work, focus and perseverance. She added that failure gives the energy to rise up with great power to reach our dreams.
