Bhavan’s Public School observed UN Day in all the three campuses with great vitality and vivacity with an aim to celebrate the humanitarian work done by the United Nations .To mark the day the students of class 12 at Wakra Campus presented the theme ‘Everyone for all’ through a short skit and Master Amal Xavier delivered a befitting speech to highlight the valuable contributions and activities of the UN for the well being of humanity. A special assembly was conducted at Matar in which the ‘Zealous Acolytes’ highlighted the incredible contribution of the United Nations, with a unity dance by grade 1 and a speech which upheld their principles by grade 6.An exciting quiz was conducted by Mrs.Reemol which assisted the students to acquire more information on the activities of UN.At New Salata Campus students had an interactive session about UN and also were shown PowerPoint. Principal Mr.M.P Philip urged the senior students to study more about the functioning of United Nations and its allied organisations. Headmistress and Academic coordinators in their address to students spoke about the major role UN plays in making world peace and maintaining the sovereignty of all the nations worldwide.
