To salute teachers, Bhavan’s Public School celebrated International Teacher’s day with great zeal and fondness. A special assembly was held in all three campuses to celebrate and thank teachers for their selfless service in moulding the new generation with extreme care and love. At Wakra Campus students delivered their speech with confidence to pay tribute to the relentless services of the teachers to the society. Miss Afrin of class IV A was appreciated by our honourable principal for her specially contributed song for Emir of Qatar. At New Salata Campus School choir sang a beautiful song dedicated to their teachers and the teachers expressed their love and care by giving messages in different languages. It was a very exciting day for the student teachers as they got to teach children of lower classes .Kindergarten teachers were honoured for their work of moulding the tiny tots. Students at Matar Campus put up a heart-warming assembly, gesturing their love which threw light on the ever demanding role and Irreplaceable place of a teacher. The whole ambience was abuzz with anticipation as the student teachers graced the stage and paid tribute to their look-alike teachers. The students of pre-primary and primary section presented the handmade cards to the teachers. The informal interview of the students with the teachers made the learning environment vibrant. With an aim of spicing up reading habit among students, teachers of Matar campus contributed books to the school library. Principal Mr.M.P.Philip and Director Administration Mrs.Anjana Menon sparked the occasion with their presence and encouraged the students to be prolific readers. Principal Mr.M.P.Philip and Headmistress Mrs Shailaja KrishnaKumar and Mrs Asha.Shiju in their address, expressed their love and gratitude to all the teachers and appreciated them for their commitment, dedication and selfless service. It was indeed a proud day for the teachers to bask in the affinity with their students.
